Threw these together pretty fast to put up on the line so you can see what they look like painted up.

Did these in an 'oak leaf' camo pattern. It was fun.

Added a tremendous basing tutorial that will help some get started on basing their models.
1st Corp WW2 SS

Made an addition of this range to my gallery. These have been around for a while but I only recently have gotten around to painting them. Painted them as Autumn Pea Dot camo for no particular reason.
West Wind SS

Just added a bunch of West Wind SS I did when in NY for Cold Wars. I just based them up and put them up. I had forgotten I painted them.
Painting Guides!

(posted: 05/25/2005 03:17 PM)
If you check the West Wind Gallery you will see an example of the guide I use. I am adding these in case someone is curious as to where I get my info. I highly recommend these. They are outstanding resources. Some of the best available. I have the FJ book but I have to pull it out and photo it. I also have a collection of DVD's and vidoes which I use as both guides and inspiration. Private Ryan and 60's show Combat are excellent examples. Also, Band of Brothers and Kelly's Heroes are great!
Artizan Fallschirmjagers: Just loaded!

I started these a few weeks ago and got sidetracked. I just went back to them recently and took care of some finishing touches. Let me know what you think. The splinter pattern is a bit of a challenge. Every time I do it I go in saying, " I have this down." When I am done I feel like I missed something.
Zombies- I added a zombie comparison chart so that you can see how they line up together.

I was about ten and went off on my own for a while. I past a movie theater showing Night of the Living Dead. Looked gruesome and I bought a ticket. Well, let me tell you that the movie scared the #%$^ out of me. I had nightmares for years to come. I am still a big fan of the genre today and I think it is all due to how powerful my experience was at that time.
Added some pics of Artizan SS Pea Dot camo troops with a very active background. Check in the Artizan Gallery.

I noticed that once I switched to the white background, I could actually see the details of the models much more clearly. Artizan figures are great to paint.
Added some Foundry Homeguard Brits to the Foundry Gallery.

This was my first crack at the Brits. I mostly followed Foundry painting guides. Some details were small to pick out and I used a book called "WW2 infantry Uniforms in Color." There is a pic posted on the site of the book.

Fountain Pics

(posted: 05/19/2005 12:25 AM)
Check the Foundry gallery to see the destroyed fountain. This bit was a gift for my boy Benny and it didn't last him a week. I decided to paint it up and use it as a destroyed fountain in my 28 mm games. Some day he will have it again.
Foundry WW2

(posted: 05/19/2005 12:23 AM)
Foundry WW2 Command I bought a pack for $8 and that came out to $1 a figure so I painted them up again. These are great castings and always a pleasure to paint.
Artizan US Paratroopers
