More Apaches! | 2012-01-08 20:16:14

These are great fun to paint. I am working on a bunch that are mtd but I need to drill each one and his ride and that takes a few minutes so it is slow going. The dismounted indians are much faster to paint and prep. I decided to go easy on these this week as I used more subdued tones this time around. Enjoy!

Old West Civilians | 2011-07-08 21:44:09

Yes, I continue to paint. I have been very busy with other things and haven't had the time to post. Here are some very sweet Bluemoon Old West Civilians. I am in the process of going from mostly Foundry paints to Reaper Master Series. I like the Reaper very much and they are a local business which makes me even happier. Hope you enjoy. You can always check at www.combatpainter.com for more updates.

Another 28mm French and Indian War entry. These are by Conquest. in 28mm. | 2011-01-04 23:29:01

Unfortunately, painting them without good painting guide support from the company can be a bit slow. I got through it. I have two more packs which I shall eventually get to finish. As a painter one gets into a color rut at times and needs to snap out of it.

Added 28mm French and Indian war and three Sherman tanks in 15mm | 2010-08-16 22:20:21

This week and last I have been quite busy. Should have a platoon or two of pz IVs for next week in 15mm. My French and Indian War pile is slowly but surely getting smaller. I have been working with a new camera and some new backgrounds which have not worked out at all. I have gone back to my original background now that I have figured out the settings on the Cannon Rebel.
